Just returned from Lac Suel. Yes its filled with walleyes. No you can't camp on islands as a non resident. Plus some of the land is Part of the First Nations Indian tribe. It takes about 11 hours to go to Hudson which is centrally located on the lake. There are many resorts and camps on the lake. We have been going 6 years and will be going next year also. We also have caught some nice pike and smallmouth. we have not seen any muskies where we fish. Its a fun lake to fish.

Ditto. Tons of Walleye, Pike, Smallmouth. Plenty of places to stay for any budget. Although I would try to book your dates as far in advance as possible. Most of the groups that go reserve the next years dates before they leave camp. It can be tough to get in some places although there are usually cancellations. Also get good maps and go slow. Many hazards to run into on that lake. As for Muskies, they seem to be more on the Eastern part of the lake.

Regards,
