Shrink tube on Turbo Jack?

Recommended Posts

Shall I put shrink tubing on the rear hook of a turbo jack jr as we do with the topraiders, etc? Just wondering cuz of the extended distance between the prop and rear hook. Thanks, later.

Could you explain this thinking? What will covering the hook up solve? I'm not on the inside circle of musky fishing so I don't know why you do that to a top raider either. Thanks.

Shrink tubes keep the hooks pointed straight down the lure(in the case of the topraider) so that the hook doesn't drag and affect the "torpedoeing" across the water. The hook will remain almost stationary in and out of the water.
