lengby - island lake

We will be staying on island lake in late July. Anyone have any lake/area info that may make this dad a hero? Are there other small lakes in the area to lake hop on? Panfish is a must for the kids but I would like to find some pike, bass, and waleye. We have never been in the area so places to see, drinking holes, eating spots etc will all be helpful.

Talked to my Dad last night. Small walleyes are biting on Whitefish lake on minnows and small plastics. About 10-15 minutes from Lengby. They also caught 3 and 4 pound northerns. So... small, but busy.
