The last two lakes that I have been on have both been sprayed pretty heavily for weeds and the cabbabge and the coontail are both getting pretty browned out. The bass seem to have abandoned the browning weeds. How do you attack the lake? Does the spraying put them off their feed for a bit or do they abandon the areas until new growth?

OUch.. I hate when that happens... My guess is they only sprayed the shallow weedss.. I would do my best to head to deeper water and find green weeds.

When the weeds die off, they soak up the O2... thats not good.. green weeds give off the O2...

also fish shallow in the morning with buzzbaits or spinnerbaits. the fish still have to relate to something. in my experience they either go to docks and deeper rocks or stick to shallow cover: shallow pads, wood, or shaded willows.
