Straight River Locations?

Where is straight river and where can I get on it? I live in Saint Cloud area.

take US 71 N from Sauk Center up to Hwy 34 in Park Rapids. Turn west on MN Hwy 34 into Osage. Turn south on Co Rd 123 until you reach the river crossing. There you are. The river has crossings on county roads for access; I would suggest investing in a DeLorme Atlas and Gazetter for Minnesota. They can be found at any bookstore, Walmart, even some gas stations. They are red and about the same size as a Rand McNally Road Atlas. The map is indispensible as it lists all of the county roads, and many forest roads and trails as well, as well as WMAs, WPAs, State PArks, SNAs, etc. A good investment for 20 bucks.
