Old Polaris

That's a good ol' machine there, my Dad, Uncle, Cousin and Grandpa each bought an Apollo 340 back in '79, bullit proof machine except for your problem, I think they all put in a few springs in thiers, I know we did, us kids drove the heck out of that machine, hated it everytime we had to take that skid frame out, what a pain, not that it was tough to do, it just didn't go back together very easy. Had to have a come-a-long with just to get the holes to line back up so you could start the bolts in the treads.

I think we usually got the springs from Dennis Kirk but I do believe we did get them from Polaris once in a while too. Don't know what is available for parts anymore but you could call and see.

Some elbow grease and a Saturday afternoon and you should have it fixed up.

Out of the 4 that were bought, 3 are still runnin' ( one got traded )one is in awesome shape and driven every winter, like I said, good machine.

I agree it is a good machine. I use it as my fishing mobile, but this October I will be old enough to drive. So I will be driving to the places. I will just put it on a trailer. My truck it also a '79. I am working on rebuilding it. I got a new box, now I just need to find someone to paint it.
