Lake Springfield

Hey all, not sure how many people see this but I am heading to Lake Springfield over the 4th of July holiday and will be staying on Lake Springfield.

A little checking shows that the lake (is it a reservoir?) has some pretty good multi species angling opportunities. I will have a boat to go out on, may not have a flasher/depthfinder. I would appreciate any tips you could give. I would like to target whatever is most abundant and catchable (LM Bass?) but I would love to hook a walleye in central IL!! maybe a Tiger Muskie??? I have never caught a white bass either so whatever happens on this lake will be a bonus, can't wait to check it out.

I have been out on Lake Springfield as I used to live near there,unfortunately i have only river fished and caught gar.

Had a great time in Springfield! Caught lots of bluegills and catfish in Lake Springfield fishing off the dock. Went out in a boat on Sangchris and did ok on bass, nothing real big but I was enetertained for hours. I am not used to fishing lakes where the water temp in early July was 87!
