I was out yesterday, got to the spot and put down the trolling motor. I hit the power and.....nothing. There is power getting to the motor because it can turn it back and forth but when I hit the pedal (button) on the foot control the prop won't turn. I took it apart today and when opened it smelled burnt, but I didn't notice anything that was burned. Of course I am not mechanically inclined, just took it apart HOPING I would see something obvious that I could fix.
Has anyone experienced this or know what I can do to fix it?
I am so very sorry to hear this and so sorry for the loss of Chamois. She was beautiful companion.
We will always miss the dogs we have lost. Unfortunately we lost both of our dogs just 6 days apart in November.
