fixed my livewell pump...kinda?!

Question

I have spent too much time working on this pump, but it works but the thing trickles out water in the tank??? what the Hike?
I am extremely frustrated right now and ready to pull my few remaining hairs out...any thoughts?

some1 else had a post on the same problem a week or so ago,but heres something to look at .inside the livewell the end of the water inlet is an airaetor.unscrew that and run water without it,i had just the smallest piece of grass stuck in there that caused it to just trickle in.i alos used this to shut down the front livewell totally, i use that 1 for storage. give that a try.

Definitely check to make sure the aerator isn't plugged. Pull the screen off the intake to make sure you aren't plugged there. You just replaced it if I recall correctly. Listen to the pump motor to see if it appears to running with full power. You may have a poor connection. Also try replacing the fuse if it has one. I doubt this is it but I've seen it once or twice where the fuse isn't popped but is damaged and won't allow full power. Finally you may have just got a bad pump. It happens sometimes. Take it back and get another one.
