Pheasant Hatch

How does the bird hatch look for this year? I do almost all my hunting in Carroll county.

We haven"t seen to many as of yet on the road sides or in alfalfa fields. I haven't really gave it any thought till you brought this post up.

There has been no real soakers or down pours of heavy rain this spring here.(Boone county)

So I would assume the hatch has been fairly good for them. Have seen some partridge in hay ground.

Will let you know later here in june or july when they seem to start to show up.

i wasn't going to post cause i didn't have any first hand info, but i think we had a good spring for the hatch, so hopefully we will have a a good pop. this fall.( bremer/fayette co.)
