ugly stick quick help `

while i was out tonight i was casting a rap and the insert in the tip of my not more then 2.5 month old ugly stick cracked chipped how hard will it be to replace it or would it be easyer to spend 13 bucks to get it replaced if i can find the recipt ? i got it at gander and somone said thay might just excange it for me any ideas?

I would try btinging it back to Gander mountain and if they won't replace it for FREE, I'd take it to Thorne Brothers in Fridley. They will replace the tip for about $4 while you wait.

You shouldn't have any trouble. Gander has replaced stuff like that for me even without a receipt. If not it's just a couple buck to get a new tip put on.

Yep! I agree! Buying from Gander or Cabellas is pretty painless. Esspecially if you have a problem arise with a product.
I will never buy from an outfit like Gapen again!

Reminds me of my Guide Series baitcaster. I crushed the butt end in the hatch of my truck. I took it in without receipt, handed it to the customer service rep, told him I'm gonna go grab another one, didn't give him a chance to say anything to me, got back to him and he already had the paperwork ready. Of course, I talk to these guys almost every day during my lunch break since they're 3 blocks from work.

How do you like that bait caster? I bought one, love it. I wish that I would it have been around last year... I could have bought 3 for the price of what I paid for one... oh well. I have been looking for another one. Gander in Fridley has been out for a while. They do not seem to have any idea when they are going to be getting more in. I think that I may be too late? at least for this season. hope that they are back next year.

I love the Guide Series baitcaster! I've got the 7' medium/heavy action. I love my Rapala Signature Series baitcaster as well but I don't have a reel for it right now and it's harder to cast with it since it's an extra-heavy.
