I will be heading up to Star Lake on Sat. morning for a week of vacation. Does anyone have any tips on what to use or where to go on the lake for walleye or crappie? I am an experienced angler, just want to know a few tips from the locals on this lake. I'm also new to this forum!

Which Star Lake? I'd define that and then post your question in the forum pertaining to that area. You will get all kinds of feedback as to what's biting and what to use. Have fun on your trip and welcome to FishingMinnesota.com
