0 CRAPPIEBAIT
Go in and talk to someone at thornes. They are really good at teaching a person what to look for in different rods and what you want out of a rod. They will explain why one rod is better than the other. 0 Northlander
You may have to go with 2 rods. I know at times you can get away with a eye rod for the Crappie but I like a softer tip and some good backbone. Most places I use a ultralight in the 28" range for gills/Crappie but on Red I use my med/light for them. I like longer rods so I go almost always at least 28" and mostly 30-32".
