had a great morning .....threw the canoe into the back of the truck ,grabbed the rods and cameras.........and headed to a little panfish hole close to me.......sure was fun when those bluegills hit that popper(flyrod)....(and the ultralight jigs) ....jonny

I love that first shot. Panfish on a fly rod is one of my favorite afternoon activities. Nice job.

.....I released em all Steve!....they were still on their beds or just about on the way off the beds..........hit anything that even came close to the nests.......either a plastic below water level........or the "betts" popper " above the water....I'm waiting for the crappies for the frying pan..next week on my first few days of vacation.......
