jonny_redhorse
was out practicing my macros this warm (hot) morning (local lake)...the sky is alive with emerging dragonflies of various species....even watched em unfolding their new wings as they crawled out of their old"skins" ...here's a few photos...jonny "ebony jewelwing" (actually a damselfly)this one's kinda hard to come by.only seen a few the last few years immature "basketails"(Ithink)...these immature dragonflies are tough to identify.they change color later and the females are different colored then the males also...like the way the sun's reflectig on the glass like wings.......
