Just to let all of you know Wheeler at Gander Mountain in Utica, went in for a quadruple bypass Friday morning. I stopped by Gander late yesterday to see if anyone had any word. Nothing back yet. I think he is in Syracuse. The doctor was recommended by his son who is in the medical field. I'll be out of pocket for a week so if anyone hears (like Tim calling Gander) post it. Wheeler as we all know has been a great friend and outspoken source of info during ice season. Tuzz, you might be able to give him some motivation after the fact.

Well said Franky, I'll talk to Gander or Skip on Tuesday. Wheeler is a fishing legend and a good friend. We were fortunate enough to ice fish with Wheeler this winter and it was an absolute pleasure. He caught some nice jack perch that day and we look forward to hopefully a couple of more trips with him winter. He's an encyclopedia of fishing knowledge with over 60 plus years on New York waters, his fishing bible will blow anyone away.

Were praying for a speedy recovery.

Franky talked to Gander this morning and they haven't heard anything, left a message with Skip in the hanger to give me a call.

Talk to Skip and Wheeler this morning. Wheeler's quad by pass was a succcess! Wheeler came home yesterday and other than his sore chest he feel's great!

Thanks go to Dr. Marvoski at St. Joes for a job well done. Wheeler has to go back for check-up with the Doc on the 21st of Jun and more recovery. Frank he's looking forward to getting out with us ice fishing more this winter

I'll be touching base with him from time to time on his progress. Great news
