My buddy just bought a new 620 Ranger with a Merc 250 Optimax racing motor. During the 1st hour of break in it worked fine then any time you would get above 3000 rpm it would start cutting out. they can't find anything wrong on the diagnostic. Hint: here in New Mexico we are at a high elevation. The lakes we fish are any where from 7600 ft to 3200 ft. It says the moter is supposed to compensate for elevation. Any ideas
