Lubricating Steering Components

NoviceFishingDad

Question

Hello All,

I have an '04 Lund Explorer (side console)and am thinking I need to lubricate the steering components. I have searched everywhere and cannot find the grease zirc (sp?)anywhere. The motor is a Yamaha 90 HP 2 stroke. Anyone have this setup who or know where to find the grease points?

Also - how often should things be lubed up?

Thanks for any info you can provide.

Steering components cannot be luricated, if they go bad they have to be replaced.

Motor should have 1 grease zerk on main column, also you can put a light coat of grease on steering arm, after you turn wheel all the way to extend it out.
