BigWadeS
I have to replace some of my wobble rollers this weekend and I have not been able to find the retainer rings to keep the rollers in place. I am just wondering if anyone knows of anyother ideas that would work or where a guy can get the retainer rings at a resonable price. Thanks for your help. papasoco
Try Menards. I was just there yesterday pickin up some hardware to mount a trolling motor to my bow and saw some lock rings that might work for ya. Look in the aisles with the nuts and bolts and stuff. Just curious, what did you use to mount your troller to your bow? Homemade rig? I have a standard fishing boat, looking for some idea's. Funds are short here. huntingislife
You could just build a small triangular platform in front and bolt the bowmount directly to it.
papasoco
My boat already had a mounting platform on the bow. I bought the motor off of hsolist and it didn't come with any mounting hardware so I had to pick up the nuts and bolts. If you do end up mounting a triangle chuck of wood to the bow make sure you use a sheet metal mounting plate underneath. Or at the very least some good size washers to spread the load out a little bit.
