Any Berryman B-12 users out there?

Wild Thing

Question

Has anyone used Berryman's B-12 fuel stabilizer, cleaner additive in a marine use? I'm thinking of switching from Sea-Foam for my Yamaha four stroke outboard. I've had two mechanics say B-12 is just as good for cars/trucks, so I assume it's great for four-stroke boats as well.

Since it's now half the price of Sea-Foam, makes sense if it does the same thing.

No need to reply if you haven't tried B-12.

Thanks much.

I've used the B-12 in the SUV but it seems to be missing that foamy characteristic of sea foam. So maybe its missing a detergent that sea foam has. Since detergents are key to binding water to petroleum products maybe you will be missing the key benefit of Sea Foam. How about trying a mixture of both products then you will still get the detergent action of sea foam and the solvent action of B-12 and then you will have cut the cost a little bit.
