joe_stack20
The best venison breakfast sausage that i have found is actually made by Fergus Locker.... when i bring my deer in to get processed...thats about all i get, besides steaks, and chops. Give them a call...maybe they have some available for you to try. Its very tasty in the fryin pan.. just add eggs, green peppers, little onion, then cheese on top. then fill up a flour tortilla with it, you got yourself a tasty venison breakfast burrito. Yum yum
huntnfish
Thanks fella's. I will give both of those a try. I have been looking for some different recipes for a little while, but most that I found had to be smoked. Thanks again.
SilverLakeBoy
Leggs old plantation regular pork sausage seasoning works real well. Google, Old Plantation Seasoning Blends. It comes in an envelope good for 25 lbs of meat, I've used it with straight venison and have mixed some pork with the venison both are good. The nice thing about it is you don't have to season it till you want to use it. Take out a pound of ground meat and mix two teaspoons of the seasoning with it, let it stand for a half hour or so make your patties and fry them up. This way you don't have to have all your ground meat tied up in breakfast sausage.
