Last Minute Memorial Day......

Seeing as I was not sure whether or not I was going to have off on memorial day weekend I did not make any reservations and was wondering if anyone thinks it will still be possible to find some available sites maybe in the st. cloud area?? I see most of the state parks are completely booked but maybe some other campgrounds that I may not know of? I have a tent, possibly a small trailer to sleep in but thats not a big priority. thanks for any help!

go online and do a search for minnesota campgrounds. you should get a few sites that have lots listed. I've been up by st. cloud a couple times, but it's been a while. the last campground I was at up there was A J Acres, which is by clearwater off of 94. nice campground, but kinda spendy if I remember correctly

I ran into a similar problem a while back. I found out that a lot of smaller county parks allow camping. Mostly on a first come first served type basis.

Just throwing an option to ya if you can't get into a state park.

State forest campgrounds are first come first served, also. Just try getting somewhere early friday.
