turkey nest

Ok turkey experts. I kicked a turkey off of her nest may 4th while mushroom hunting and took my kids back three days later to look at the nest and it was gone. I did not disturb the nest when I found it. There was no sign of eggs or shell fragments. Where did the eggs go?? My thought is human predation. Any other thoughts.

Kind of a similar experience for me last year.

Walking through the woods, a hen jumps up and flies off.

Oops. She was on eggs. We left and made a stroll through the area a few days later, and all the eggs were busted up.

Sounds like the varmits got to the nest,Big Bass. Merganser, what kind of fish are those? And is that a millimeter rule? Ha Ha Just kidding about the ruler.
