Free Fishing, Free Entrance SD state parks this weekend

The Department of Game, Fish and Parks is inviting outdoor enthusiasts to enjoy South Dakota State with a Free Fishing Weekend and Parks' Open House Weekend Friday, May 19 through Sunday, May 21.

During the annual three-day event, no fishing license will be required on any South Dakota Fishing waters, except on tribal trust land.

Entrance fees are waived for visitors to South Dakota's state parks and recreation areas. Camping fees still apply.

The waiver of the fishing license requirement and park entrance fees applies to both residents of South Dakota and visitors from other states.

Well, then I guess I'll have to go fishing in South Dakota again for the 3rd straight weekend. The gas is getting tough, but the fishing never gets old.
