Has anyone been out on Balsam lately?? What is the latest water temp?? Any good Bass action anywhere??

I do know there is a big F.O.M. tournament on it this weekend.. So, if you were thinking of fishing it this weekend. I would choose another lake.

Best of luck to you.. I have a few friends fishing it as well that I gave up a few of my "Spots" to...

I would assume that Balsam is like most lakes in the area.. Some smaller males have gone up to make beds, but the colder temps have pushed many of them back. I would assume with the weather the way it is, that a lot of small males will be up making beds this weekend for your tournament.. Finding the females staging will be the key.
