78cj5
Ugh. All weekend my Lowrance 334 kept losing and reaquiring communication almost continously. No matter what orientation or setting...it was lost.Looks like I will be going back to the dealer for an exchange for a 332 on Monday.Man that was frustrating and embarassing. 0 78cj5
I thought I would post an update on my Lowrance situation. I had the dealer replace my 334C with a 332C on May 25. Since that time, I have about approximately 25 hours on my 332C. From what what I can tell, the 332 has never lost reception, period. Also, the time to acquision is a fraction of what it was with the 334C.Like I have stated before, maybe my 334C was worse than others, but from what I have read on FM and many other forums, the performance was not uncommon.I was cleaning my boat last night and decided to make a couple of changes on the unit. I turned it on and within just a minute or two, the GPS locked on to a satellite inside my garage. For me there is no comparison between the 334C and 332C. I am glad I forced the issue and swapped units.
