What about the Kickapoo?

Have any of you SE guys ever ventured to the Kickapoo River in WI? I heard it has as many fish and bigger than the Rush? I wanted to make the drive to investigate, does anyone have any experience fishing southeast of Lacrosse?

Yep, it's got some big bruisers. Some areas get pretty remote, which is pretty cool. There are a ton of streams in that area, so it's definitely worth a trip.

Where do you fish on the Kickapoo, inside or outside of the park? I looks like you have to do some walking to access the river in areas, is there a lot of private land? What other streams are worth looking at in that area?
