Missouri, RIGHT below Garrison Dam

Just got back from fishing the Missouri, right at the Garrison Dam.

Fished 2 days (Wednesday / Thursday) and caught a total of 3 walleyes, 4 lb, 2 lb 1.5 lb. Caught 2 Sturgeon, and a piece of coal.

Yes, actually caught the coal, on the hook and reeled it in from 16' of water.

Anyways, I've got a cousin that lives in Beulah, and of course, up until last week, they could go out every morning and catch 20-30 walleyes in less than 4 hours, all 1-4 lbs.

Just thought I'd give a report, incase anyone's thinking about heading out. Sakawea is open, no ice as of last week.

Fished Sak. Friday from 10-4 caught 1 3lb walleye and a 2lb sauger..from 4-7 fished the river...not a single bite..
