Just a reminder to all you fellow sportsmen and women.

Only ONE walleye over 20 inches this year state wide (on top of whatever slot is on your particular lake).

Oh! and it's 40 inches for Muskie this year too. (one Over 40 can be kept)

Just out of curiosity, how does a musky over 40" taste? I might consider keeping a musky over 50" to put on the wall with my other trophies, but nothing under 50".

A person would assume a muskie tasted just like a northern pike. Just a thought on the walleye regulation, Its about time. I would rather see the dnr change that to a slot. Anything between 18" and 28" must be emediately released, and only one fish over 28". Just my opinion. But I am real happy they changed it to one over 20" that will definately help keep some larger fish in the lakes.

I believe the DNR is looking into going to a 48" minimum for Muskies. I know some lakes are already that way. I would hope that most people would go with a replica even if it were a trophy.
