How do you transport your rods to the fishing whole.

HOOKUP

Question

When I got to the lake a couple of weeks ago I looked into the boat where I carfully placed my three rods and to my supprise the handle came off of my pflueger and my new St Croix had rubbed against the boat and took the finish off of about a 3 inch area off the rod. Can I restore the finish on the rod or just chaulk it up to experience and leave it there as a reminder to secure them better next time. Thanks!

I drive a Jeep Cherokee and can't comfortably fit my muskie rods in the vehicle, their pretty long 6'6" - 7'0". So I asked my girlfriend to pick me up a ready rig tournament bag from Thorne Brothers, this bag is designed for 3 rods and reels but with a little creativity I can get all 4 of my rods and reels in the bag. I then lay the bag in the boat nice and secure the upper portion of the rods to the middle seat and have not had any problems, and I have done a fair amount of traveling with them so far this year.

Good Luck
