The First Open Water Excursion of the Year

What a wonderful day out on the big pond today... Light winds, bright sunny day, and fish that wanted to be caught.. What more can a guy ask for...

Hit the water with a friend from town here in search of some inshore trolling action... Faired pretty well for a half day adventure, where we boated 10 fish all together... 4 Browns, 3 Coho, 2 Splake, and 1 small Lake Trout..

Here are a few photos for you guys... Spring trolling on Lake Superior... Definately a good time with good numbers of fish caught along with a variety of species...

A Beautiful Splake that had the absolute best markings of any Splake I have caught...

Great job Jim, boy you know to make a guy jealous! If you ever need an extra guy to help setting lines you've got my # I need to spend some more time over there this year, that splake is absolutly beautiful.

By the way, are the rivers looking any better yet?
