0 2dalake
The sending unit could be bad, giving you a false reading, have your dealer check it. Do you have an oil pressure gauge? Is the pressure low?
0 eyesontonka
If you own a johnson..could very well be oils to thin..newer big motors have that problem..get gas mixed in the buzzer goes off until you change the oil..not sure what motor you have..2daylake gave you the others.. 0 2dalake
I was thinking four stroke, if you are running a two stroke there was a thread on the equipment page not too long ago about a stuck float in the resevoir.
0 fivebucks
I have a Mariner 75hp 2 stroke that the low oil buzzer stayed on and it was the float in the oil resevoir that went bad and wouldn't float any more. I drained out the oil until I could see the float and then stuck a wire down to it and lifted it up and the buzzer stopped. Replaced the oil resevoir (with new float) and now it is just fine. You might have totally different situation but that is what was wrong with my motor. Good luck.
