Bark Bay Report (second hand)

Friends hit Bark Bay today for a short period and managed to go 2 for 6. With a couple cohos for dinner. They pulled boards and sticks and had to dodge alot of pack ice out there.

I'm sure I'm not the only one getting jealous and anxious after hearing some of the first open water reports of the year. Hopefully we can spend some time on the water next week.

Cheffrey, what days and times were you thinking for next week so I can clear the rest of my schedule since you already cleared most of it.

I will be picking the boat up on my way back from the Brewers Dinner at South Shore tommorrow morning. Sunday I am gonna get it back in tip top shape and Monday looks to be near 50 degrees with light winds. Monday may be the day but we will have to keep an eye on what the winds decide to do. Currently they are forcasted out of the SE so the port will be the determining factor. Otherwise Thursday would be the next shot for me. The little landing at Garfield may need a little chiseling to get that last 3 feet of ice out. Lets just hope with the heavy ship traffic this week that they bring some of the ice out of the bay with them.

See if Porter is in for Monday also.
