0 hanson
FishinMaverick - Roach Rig is your basic trollin' live bait rig for walleye made famous by Gary Roach and Lindy Little Joe tackle. More or less a 3-4' snell with a hook on the business end and a barrel swivel at the other. Ahead of the barrel swivel you will have a sinker (walking, bead chain, bottom bouncer) to get your rig down. Difference between a roach rig and a spinner rig is the spinner blade and beads, otherwise they are the same.
0 huskiesplayer15
Or known as a lindy rig he uses a bobber stop in front of the barrel swivel, but behind the sinker to adjust leader lengths.the sinker is a stand-up or boot style sinker, or walking sinker. allowing line to pass freely through with out the fish knowing hope fully if you release the bail in time.it is alo rigged with either fire eye finess hooks, or gum drop floaters.this is a very succesfull rig, works great on walleyes, northerns and can be used as a form of a carolina rig for bass.also when tying the hooks make sure to use a palomar knot. These are sold pre-packaged by northland tackle in set of two for 2.99 at sportsmens wharehouse. One other thing, when you rig the sinker make sure it forms an "L" when you place it on the linethis way it wont hang up as easy on the bottom.hope this helpsbst fisheschris
