While I love the line created by your composition (crop) there's something really distracting about the lower right hand corner. The gull shot though is really sweet. I like the way he has his neck stretched forward like a goose or a duck. you don't often see that from a gull.

Hi Tom:

I agree on the goose shot. They were running fast along the hillside hollering, and I had to move really quickly to get any type of shot at all. Virtually no time to think about framing anything. I could photoshop out that snow, cloning in the dead grass to replace it, but, then, it wouldn't really be true to what happened.

That gull makes me laugh every time I see it. Looks like it got a definiate wake-up call.
