1982 Yamaha Virago 920 Motorcycle+++SOLD+++++

I have a very nice older bike for sale. It is a 1982 Yamaha Virago 920XV. Shaft drive, Red in color. Has after market straight pipes making it nice and loud!!!, new winshield yet to be installed, highway pegs, digital speedometer, backrest with a leather bag on back. seat is excellent with no rips or tears. Both tires have very good rubber, newer battery and an extra to go with it. I also have the factory pipes with it if anyone wants them. Bike has about 26,000 miles on it. Looks almost like new!!! I bought this bike a couple years ago and drove it all over the place, ran and drove like a dream. gets about 45 mpg!! Put new carb kits in it a couple years ago. This is a v-twin. After a while the bike developed an electrical problem which is intermittent and I couldn't track it down. I had it at a motorcycle mechanics for 2 summers, and he rode it all over trying to get it to malfunction and couldn't. It also has had the typical Virago starter problems from that era and would need a new starter, or a fix to the current one. if someone is handy, this would be a steal. I had it for sale at the end of my driveway and it fell over, breaking the old winshield, (as I said, I have a new one to put on) and one of the rear blinkers. I also have a Clymer repair manual for this bike that goes with it. As I look at it and talk about it, I want to keep it, but just have 2 many other toys to justify it to the boss. bump...anyone want cheap transportation??? a little work and this thing is good to go for years to come, 40-45 MPG!!

when it would malfunction, it would seem like it was only running on one cylinder. I sent you some picts today, let me know if you have any other questions

Bike has been paid for and delivered!! Thanks to everyone who e-mailed for pictures and looked!!! Sad to see it go, but needed the $$$ for other toys I get more use out of!! thanks again everyone.
