New lake the wife found

My wife has found another resort to look at on Horsehead Lake near little tomahawk.....It is way up in oneida county, her folks are in the very SE corner of MN....145 acres, no walleyes, lots of panfish I suppose...are there better lakes in the area that I can take the boat to and find good fishing?

anyone know of a resort that might have an opening for a group of about 10-12 people in one house?

actually I am really pushing hard for the Red Cedar area, and I have found a few resorts so far(hemlock, deer path, stout island, and gathering place and the county camp ground) any other resorts on that chain of lakes that would have a HSOforum I can check out? this is really late in the game, but she and her sisters (no brothers) think they will be okay........help would be greatly appreciated.
