Iowa snow

Just wondering if the snow hit part of Iowa and how bad was the storm.I was wondering how bad a hit the pheasants might have took?

from what i'm hearing , it was spotty. herein sumner( 40 mi. N.E. of waterloo) we barely had a trace.my daughter said at fortdodge there was some in the ditches and blowing. farther north got more.( waterloo had hail instead!) hopefully the birds should be ok, with all the grass areas not being covered, so hopefully they had protection.

None here in Ames or anywhere close to here. Bird should be good. Now just pray for a somewhat dry nesting season.

Pretty good shot here in NW Iowa. Ranging from 4-8 inches in the area, with lots of drifting. I'm not worried about pheasants...the population is effected much more by a wet spring and lousy hatch than a harsh winter and lower carryover numbers.
