Ordered 250... now to plug some old transducer holes

Ordered my new Garmin 250 from Bass Pro.

Will be pulling old Lowrance trans. and speed sensors. (discovered they probably should have been on starboard side all these years...don't know why I initially mounted on port.

Anyway, anyone know if the silicon sealant you use for recaulking bathroom fixtures, etc, is acceptable for use when plugging holes in the transom from old screws (actually screws will remain, but I will seal them some with silicon.)

Use the mounting screws that you take out and put some silicone on them and simply screw them back in. You're right!!

JB Weld or Liquid Solder will do the job.
