I just came across 2 old vintage Penn 209's. They appear to be in reasonable shape considering their age. I'd like to tear them down and clean them really good and inspect the drag washers. I've heard these reels will last foreever if you take care of them. I plan on using them to fish for big catfish.
What is the best way to disassemble and clean these reels?
Chamois passed away this weekend a couple days short of her 13th bday.
What a great dog to hang out with here at home and on distant adventures.
Gonna miss ya big time my little big girl.
