Trollers Roll Call

All this recent talk about trolling for walleyes is getting to be too much for me - I'm going through some serious open water withdrawal right now

We've got a trip to Erie in the middle of April - if you like to troll with planer boards, that's got to be pretty close to as good as it gets. We've got a big group going too, there will be 6 or 7 boats on the days we're all there together. Spread out, cover some water, catch some 10's, talk about it on the radios ...... I can't wait.

Anyone else have any big-time trolling trips for walleyes?

I was on lake Erie last spring. Talk about an awesome time!! I prefished the FLW with a friend, then jumped into the tourney as a co-angler. My trip was scheduled for 10 days, but we only fished for 7 due to weather. Nevertheless, I got a serious lesson on open water trolling...both spinners/snap weight and Reef Runnin' suspending fish.

Be careful out there. Those waters can get tough in a hurry. Good Luck!
