How is the deer hunting in the northeast part of the state? I hunted over there approx 8 years ago when it was considered a T-zone.The area up north along lake Michigan.Good salmon fishing when we were in Green Bay area.

We shot alot of deer when you could have so many licenses and access to land was not a real problem for non-residents.

I'm assuming you're talking the Marinette Co area? Lots of deer as always, one of the state's top 10 counties for as long as I can remember. I got some info at home I'll toss your way. Later.

Harvey - Marinette Co was #4 in 2004 for archery, #8 for gun season for kill totals. However, Marinette Co does not make the Buck & Bear top 20 list for entrees from 1990-2004. To sum it up, lots of deer but not much trophy potential in the past.
