OUTDOORNUT
Well as expected a 4 race suspension for Chad and a minimal fine of $25K. One has to believe that with modern technology Chad can make the calls from his living room via phone, instant message, etc. I mean he has almost all the data he needs right from Track Pass, T.V., etc. He still gets to setup the cars and make the game plan, so is there really any disadvantage here? I remember Fatback calling a race from his home after he had back surgery. Doesn't look like Tony is going to get anything for his reckless driving and loud mouth, but he seems to be NASCAR'S newest golden child, so why would he. ryan_plante
I don't think that anyone will try to stop pushing the envelope to far as they can until nascar starts pulling cars from the race completly. But with all the sponsor money thats poured into every race I don't see that happening any time soon either.
CMHUNTER
I thought nascar was supposed to be a team sport? So I think the penalties that nascar gives out should affect the entire team, not just one person. Besides he is still calling the shots in the garage and who says he isn't calling the shots from home on raceday. I think they made a mistake by not taking away some points. Chad better not screw up again or it should be his job. They already proved they don't need him to win. His screw up makes the whole organization look bad. The team doesn't need that and nascar as a whole doesn't need that.
