IceHawk
Has anyone used or had any luck useing white hellium ballons or kites above your spreads? Over the years I have been reading about this concept and it has got me thinking. I have always ran a bunch of goose-magnets and I am a real big fan of them. I am a gadget junkie and anything that has the possibility to give me a edge when hunting I'm all for it. I have looked at the string o wings and they haven't impressed me but the kites and ballons have got me thinking. I have read how some guys run strings of white hellium ballons above their spread with success. I'm not sure about this approach it does sound funny but it might work. I can imagine the kites working and I guess the ballons may work. I'm sure its the movement that draws the geese. Wondering if anyone has tried any of these setups? poutpro
Have you seen the kite type things that are let up in the air and part of the kite spins just like a rotoduck wings would spin? Those things look like they would work awesome. I remember I bought the exact same thing off of a guy selling them out of his van just for an entertainment kite and it was all bright colors, now i see this guy that has just painted them all black, and sells them as decoys. The theory of it seems like itd be awesome, but I haven't heard of anyone using them.
