Waubay,late feb???

Me and a couple buddys are hitting waubay in a couple weeks. Hows the bite now???? Is late Febuary usually alright to catch some eye's??

just got back from 2 days on waubay. only one perch but caught many walleyes. had to bring the lines all up at night to get some sleep. guessing i caught 50 eyes.

We fished Waubay this morning for a few hours. We had perch swimming through on the camera all morning but only had a few bite. Tried small minnows and wax worms. Also ended up with a few small walleyes.

I just went back and looked through some pictures of late Feb / Early March fishing, and every single picture from the past 3 years has a limit of eyes it it.

I don't know how the bite is now, but late Feb has given up several limits of walleyes for me in the past.

As for the perch the quantity ranged, but no limits were taken, but several beauties were caught.
