Big Fish Hunter247 Posted February 10, 2006 Share Posted February 10, 2006 I have a 1986 20 hp Merc that I am working on in school right I was goin through the carb I ran it in the tank and I had it a litlle to close to the edge of the tank and the prop hit the side of the tank now there chunks taken out of the prop and the prop shaft is bent my question is can this prop be fixed or do I have to buy a different one? if it can be fixed how would I go about doin it can pieces be welded on to it and be painted again or is that outta the question? I know the prop shaft needs to be replaced but my worries is the prop those are kinda expensive I really dont wanna have to replace that too.
