Camera battery...how long?

eyepatrol

Question

I'm sure this has been asked before, but how long (years) can I expect my aquaview battery to last? I've had it for 3 years now, but it only seems to be good for about 4 hours and thats it, no matter how long I charge it for. Probably time for a new one, but I'm just curious what the life expectancy of these batteries are.

Thanks.

3 years is usually when performance starts to diminish. I've got a brand new battery in my camera(VS 500) and it will last for a day and then some. I would pick up a new battery. You can always use the other as a back up or for lighting in the portable. I'm using a 6 year old battery for my portable lighting.

Not sure. confused.gif I'm headed out fishing in 45 minutes, so I'll take a look at report back later. All I can say right now is it's basically the "standard" aquaview that was on the market about 3 years back. 5" screen maybe? I'll have to check.
