Backtrolling

Does anyone out there who has a boat with a console backtroll ? Or is it near impossible ?

My boat sports a single console and I do back troll. If your used to driving a tiller boat, it takes a while to get the hang of it. But it can be done. I do, on occasion, use the big motor for back trolling, but usually use my transom electric or a 4hp kicker.

Do you have wave wackers on your boat ?
Also I have seen where people use a drift sock on the front with tillers. I would imagine that would help with boat control.
