A friend and I joind MTT Minesota tournement trail our first fish was last weekend on lake winnie we did not do to hot on sun we got 15 out of 43 boats. I ran in to RON HUNTER talk about a class act. He came over to our camp site and helped us with upgrates and settings for all our lorance gps, depfinders and even guestions about our hand held equpipment. We ask him if he wanted some money, food, beer, He says no I just enjoy helping people out and talking fishing
I have seen some big wigs before and getting the time of day is hard But not with RON HUNTER The nicest down to earth pro I ever met. My partner and I have allot of learning to do with fishing in competion. My partner said to me I think we are taking the fun out fishing I said no were bring the excite back to fishing.
Anyway THANKS RON HUNTER for being my mentor

I would have to agree. Ron Hunter is quite the guy, and fisherman. I've talked with Ron a few times before hitting Winnie for those winter jumbo perch. Ron is very friendly and is always willing to share a few tips and help you out. Definitely a class act smile.gif
