17 lb vanish line

I was done in florida fishing last week and I bought some 17 lb vanish line (was using it as a leader while using 20 lb power pro)
I know vanish is supposed to be almost invisible to fish but can I use that for my lindy rigs, etc for walleye here? or is that was to heavy a line vanish or not

Hey Northlander I gave up on Vanish 2 years back. Try that Seaguar floro, nite and day difference. Man I bit my toungue many times in the past when you refered to Vanish!!!
